Ina Rose Rice, 95, of Deland, Florida passed away on October 10th, 2023. Mrs. Rice was born on October 22, 1927 in Howellsville, North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond P. Rice; grandson Mike Laughlin; great granddaughter Courtney Coffey; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Griffin King and Glinda (Mike) Brust; her grandchildren Paul (Brenda) Brooks, Ellie (Mark) White, and Glen (Patricia) Brooks; 7 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; as well as several loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

One precious, lovely, God fearing lady. Loved the Lord and her family. She will be missed, but she is having a reunion that no words can explain. I can picture her smiling right now.
