Juana M. Schindler, 59, of Ocoee, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. She was born June 01, 1955 in Tenares, Dominican Republic and moved to Central Florida 26 years ago. She was a Horticulturist. Mrs. Schindler is survived by her loving husband, Terry Schindler; children, Bolivar Peralta, Yoselin Peralta and Miguel Peralta; sisters, Ines Maria, Eduvigis Maria, Jacoba Baez, Evarista Maria, Zenelda Maria, DinaMeri Reyes ; brothers, Juan Santos, Gregorio Salazar, Polivio Maria, Luis Maria, Joselito Reyes, Noelo Reyes, Antonio Martes, Salvador Maria ; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
