Judy Helms Miles, 71, of Orlando, Florida passed away on February 21, 2023. Mrs. Miles was born on March 07, 1951 in Slocomb, Alabama to the late William and Thelma Helms. Mrs. Miles is preceded in death by her siblings Eugene Helms and Margie Laster. She is survived by her children Joe (Kelly) Liberatore, James Liberatore, Billy (Michelle) Duncan, Rebekah Santiago and Heather (Mike) Miles Marriott; siblings John Helms and Annett Gates; grandchildren Roxanne Duncan, Justin Liberatore, Ciara Santiago, Kayla Williams, Jessica (Stacie) Ripley, Charlotte Marriott, Lee Srofe and Jade Srofe; as well as great grandchildren Aiden, Alana, Emma Faye, Ellie May and Ellie. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
