Kathleen L. Speenburgh, 71 of Apopka, Florida, passed away January 11, 2016. Mrs. Speenburgh was born October 23, 1944 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a Bank Teller. Mrs. Speenburgh is survived by her loving children Roy C. Speenburgh of Longwood, FL; James Keopke of Orlando, FL; Denise (John) Homeyer of NY; Sheila Speenburgh of N.H.; siblings Freddie (Evelyn) if W.V.; Vickie May of Apopka, FL; Jerry O'Brien of Apopka, FL; 8 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
