I can’t imagine the pain her family must be in. She was my daughter’s teacher and we communicated nearly every day. A respectable person who truly cared about her students and their families which is super rare to find these times. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed big time.

No sympathy is deep enough and no words are caring enough to take away sorrow, but please know that your family is and will continue to be in so many thoughts and prayers. I send my deepest condolences.

Malika Stevenson was a genuine and extraordinary individual. She was the first grade at Bagley in Detroit. She gave a hundred percent to her students as if she were their genetic mother. She will be truly missed.
May God wrap her family in his Grace and Mercy during these trying times.

Malika welcomed me into her family’s home without even knowing me! All she knew was that we both were from Detroit and I was joining her in an adventure in another country! That right there shows the kind hearted person that she was. I’m devastated! However, I know she is being well taken care of in Heaven! You’re already missed, Malika!! Prayers, hugs, and love to her husband, children, students, school family, and everyone who knew and loved her! ❤️🙏🏾🕊️
