Lynn Jenne says
Mother, your love of family, great, inner strength, and zest for travel brought you eighty-nine full years of life.
When nearing the end of this cycle, you slowed to a caterpillar’s pace. Saving your energy until all your children were nearby to help you complete your chrysalis.
Ready for your transformation.
Ready for a painless flight on your next journey in soul development.
This will be a beautiful, well deserved, Mother’s Day.
I’ll be in the garden.

We send love and sympathy to all who knew and loved this wonderful woman.
Peggy Miller was a treasure hunter. Everything (and everyone) had value, and she knew the value of everything. She took the junk of life and created beauty, finding truth and honesty in everyday objects, and unveiling magic in the people she encountered. We met her through her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Carl Jenne, who threw us a lifeline of friendship when we moved to Florida in 1990. A friend of a friend told us to call Lynn when we arrived in Orlando, and suddenly we had not only new friends but an extended family. Lynn and Carl invited us to “Music Night.” Sharon Murray babysat our son so we could get a night off from parenting.
After my husband finished out his work contract at Disney and was in the process of buying a franchise business, we found ourselves unexpectedly expecting and financially pressed. Lynn called one day saying, “I told mom you needed a crib. Peg bought you one at Cheap Charlies.”
When we tried to say thank you to Peg we were greeted with her bark of a laugh, her hands gesturing as she shared the tale of this latest treasure hunt, telling stories of her young parenting years, turning her attention fully on us, curious to hear our stories. That was Peg. Eager for news, seeking the next experience, all lively eyes and smiles as she imagined the future.
We became neighbors after our daughter, Ally, was born. Lynn, a masterful treasure hunter herself, found us a house in Winter Park. Shortly after, she found one for her mom a couple of streets away. Occasionally, on my free mornings, I would ask Ally what she wanted to do. Her first answer was always “Go see Miss Peggy and her toys!” Peg always welcomed us in, escorting Ally to the garage out back where she stored her discoveries, just as excited as Ally to see what they could find.
Thank you, Peg, with our whole hearts. You were our treasure.

Being a long distance friend of Lynn and Carl Jenne, I never actually met Lynn’s mom, Peggy. Having lost my own parents though, I know what a difficult time this is for family and friends who are missing her presence. And from the stories I’ve heard about Peggy, she was quite a presence! I’ve heard about some of her travels including her impressive scaling of Machu Picchu. Talk about living life to the fullest. I am sorry for your loss but hope you can find some comfort in all the beautiful memories.

Dear Lynn and family, I am very sad and sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother.
We always had a good time at Girls’ Day, going to movies, Birthdays and get togethers. Peg would tell wonderful stories of her family and travels. With her laugh and beautiful, sparkling blue eyes, it was Lots of Fun!
She helped Mark and I find “unique” dishes and props at Cheap Charlies’ for our photo shoots, and this was in addition to junking with your and Carl. Thank you for sharing her!
With beautiful memories, love and friendship.

Peg, you were an inspiration to me since Cheap Charlie days. A true friend. I cannot describe how much I will miss you and our friendship. My condolences to the Miller family.

Where does one start? Loosing a mother is the hardest passage I have ever experienced. I send hugs and sincere condolences to the whole family. Peggy loved me and I loved her! It was instant. We moved 12 years ago and I lost touch! Now I will have to wait until I see her in heaven. Maybe our moms will meet up? Peg was a great gal and will be missed by all that had the pleasure to get to meet her! I love you Peg!

Peg has been a client and friend of mine for for over 27 years. She was always a pleasure to meet with and we enjoyed hearing the stories of her adventures. She truly love and pursued life to the fullest. She was an inspiration when it came to travel and seeking new adventures and we will miss her. Until we meet again Peg.
