Maureen “Mo” McVay, 73, of Zellwood, Florida passed away on February 11, 2022. Mrs. McVay was born on November 10, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late William and Marguerite McVay. She is survived by her loving husband Joe Dunleavy; siblings Karen Ulrich, Marilyn White, Bill McVay and Carole McVay; nieces and nephews Thomas Ulrich, Joan Ferorelli, Linda Wilkinson, Scott Ulrich, Cindy Gray, Billy McVay and Joey McVay; as well as her best friend Tom Clark. She’ll be dearly missed by her many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephew as well as her many cherished loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
