Mollie Merle Geiger, 80, of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on June 05, 2024. Mrs. Geiger was born on May 02, 1944 to the late Jimmie D. and Velma Lee Wise in Eustis, Florida. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby Geiger; son Michael Lawrence and brother Earl Wise. She is survived by her children Bernie (Michelle) Lindsey, Julie (Kenny) Smith and Deneen (Bo) Sellers; grandchildren Kahlee Smith, Victoria (John) Hines, Ashlee Smith, Patience Lindsey and Hope (Grant) Gannaway; great grandchildren Mahoganii, Mona, Myles, Atlas, Ella, Ethan and Leeana. Mrs. Geiger was part of the Elks Club Lodge in Apopka. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

My heart is heavy. Praying for all her family. I met Merle in 1975, I loved her my late husband I pray was meeting her with all her family and friends. Best friend to many. Just hard always thought I would see her again. My condolences to all. I love her family.
