Nancy Konkle Young age 71 passed away peacefully at home in Apopka, FL on May 2, 2024. Formerly of Pittsburgh PA, she was the daughter of John and Marjory Konkle—Sister of J.
Patrick Konkle (Sue) and Michael A. Konkle (Robin). Nancy was predeceased by her husband Micheal R.Young. Nancy was a loving mother and stepmother to Neil, Alan, Aleena, and Brandon. Neil and Alan have been known to say they hit the stepmom jackpot. She was fiercely protective of her children and worked tirelessly to support them. She was also an amazing aunt and great aunt to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She loved any reason to celebrate. She also loved her dog Ivy, pigs, sunflowers, the Steelers, and Bruce Springsteen especially
his version of Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town. She retired from her work in Billing and Suitcasing from Lucent Technologies in the early 2000s. She will be missed by many former co-workers, friends, and neighbors who loved her dearly. She was selfless to a fault. She will be missed by all. In place of flowers, donations can be made to Quest Training Center in Apopka where Brandon attends.
