The many things of Nancy Rivera
Nancy took Selfies before it became trendy.
She loved to go shopping, putting on makeup and getting her hair/nails done.
Nancy didn't get cute, she got drop dead gorgeous
She made her legs the staple point of her looks (for husbands eyes)
She loved Watching her Novelas, General Hospital, Young and the Restless, and Lifetime channels movies.
She loved Collecting Betty Boop memorabilia, Barbie Dolls, and anything miniature.
She always had lunch dates with Pops every 3rd of the month.
She loved to wake up bright and early to cook dinner for breakfast.
Her California ID said she was a natural redhead.
We always wonder if Nancy had extra fingers she would probably have extra rings on them.
Trying to use Facebook was a mission for Nancy but she sure did know how to use the like button. She also had Four different Facebook accounts for all her different personalities.
She always had a hard time messing up her children's names, so we just combine Fabian and Steve name to say FayStev or StevFay
Nancy always made Pop tie her shoes and to hurry up because she had somewhere to be.
Nancy always had Flowers deliver on her Anniversary, Birthday, and Mothers Days (if Fabian was late on sending the flowers he always received a call from his mom asking "where are my flowers"? )
Telling Pop she wants Taco Bell and ordering an old school "Pizzaz" and my pop replaying "You want a piece of a** ?"
We will always remember Nancy for her Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent.

In Memory of Nancy aka Betty Boo:
Nancy, you were more than a sister-in-law, you were another sister to me. I will always remember your fashionable style, your flashy jewelry and sandals, your cute giggle and famous potato salad at our family gatherings. I know the family will find peace in knowing that although you are no longer with us in flesh but that you are alive in Christ. Those we love don’t go away, so I know you’ll always be by our side. May you Rest In Peace until we see each other again. Love, Evy

Nancy I want to thank you for your kindness and indulgence to a teenaged girl learning the highs and lows of first love. I will extend that which you taught me and smile at the comedy of my mistakes as a high school girlfriend to your son. Now that I am a grown woman and mother I am grateful to your heart as a woman because Steve was an amazing source of support when I lost my own spouse and felt lost … Your heart made Steve compassionate and sympathetic in my time of need … What a great testament to your abilities as a mother! Thank you for your time with me, your smiles, your funny humor and the absolute love you exuded that is now eternal in the human fabric of forever. With love, Aurora Romero

It is still so unreal she is gone. I have so many memories of her with the family and time one on one. I could write a novel about all the times she made me laugh and how much I remember. I just want to say, I love you grandma. She was the biggest doofus I knew and I’ll always remember the times we spent together. She left a mark on everyone she met. She won’t be forgotten.

GRANDMOTHERS ARE FAMOUS FOR THEIR HEARTY MEALS AND FRESH BAKED COOKIES, THEIR ABUNDANT HUGS AND KISSES, AND THEIR INSISTENT DESIRE TO SPOIL GRANDCHILDREN. TIMES SPENT AT GRANDMA’S HOUSE ARE OFTEN MARKED BY THE LOVE, LAUGHTER, AND CONTENTMENT. IN FACT, GRANDMOTHERS ARE OFTEN RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THE WHOLE FAMILY TOGETHER. BECAUSE GRANDMOTHERS ARE SUCH A SOURCE OF JOY FOR THEIR GRANDCHILDREN, THEY ARE ALWAYS SORELY MISSED WHEN THEY PASS AWAY. TO LOSE A GRANDMOTHER IS TO LOSE A MOST VALUABLE FAMILY MEMBER, WE ALL GOING TO MISS YOU. REST IN PEACE NANCY RIVERA,,,,,, I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST EVERYDAY IN EVERY WAY IN THIS DIFFICULTIES MOMENT.

My grandma took care of me ever since I was born. She took of my sisters after they were born, too. Growing up, grandma was always fun to spend time around. We visited Grandma and Grandpa several times, while she and Grandpa visited us many times. One time when we visited her, she commented that I didn’t have enthusiasm about visiting, so on our next visit, I ran up to her with a big smile and hugged her tightly. One Thanksgiving surprise visit happened when I woke up one morning for school, only to walk in the kitchen and see Grandma standing in the corner. She thought she could scare me, but I hugged & kissed her and said I wouldn’t be scared of my Grandma. Since she made a lot of funny expressions, we have many funny pictures of her. She would also call our house constantly to talk to Mom. I will miss my Grandma, and I know she’s always watching over our family. She will be in my heart as I move forward. Love Love Love, Josh
