NELLIE B. ARTHUR, of Winter Garden, FL, passed away at home on February 12, 2014. She was born in Altavista, VA, on October 7, 1927, daughter of the late Jessie & Annie Burgess. She was the wife of the late Ollie Arthur of Motley, VA. The family moved to Florida from Virginia in 1956 with their three children. Ollie and Nellie opened their own business in 1956, Ollie Arthur Trucking CO., and worked closely with Orlando Paving Company up to 2011. Nellie is survived by her two brothers in Altavista, VA, Rudy and Bill Burgess, son, Dexter Arthur and his wife, Peggy, of Winter Garden, FL, and daughter, Dianne Lehmann and her husband, Tim, of Tampa, FL, 6 grandchildren, Christine Giddens, Katie Guthrie, Billy Alderman, Marty Alderman, Ryan Stigall and Melissa Dyal, 9 great grandchildren, Briana Kaliana, Maci, Sara, Rachel, Abigail, Jessica, Shaylin and Shane. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Central Florida and loved her Sunday School class. In the past few years she was unable to attend because of health issues but her heart was always with her church family and friends. She will be buried in Altavista, VA, next to her beloved husband, Ollie and infant son, Bernard Dean. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The Russell Home, 510 Holden Avenue, Orlando, FL 32839.

Grandma you will be missed more than words can express, but the memories you have left with me and the Great Grand-Kids will live FOREVER. They will never forget what they learned from "Big Grandma!!"
