Orfelina Peguero De Aquino, 74, of Orlando, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born November 02, 1939 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Peguero De Aquino is survived by her loving husband, Amado Aquino; children, Iris M. Guzman, Miguel C. Guzman, Miguel Aquino, Jovania Aquino, Franchesca Aquino and Noemi Aquino; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place at a later date in the Dominican Republic.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
