Patricia A. New “Patti”, 67, of, Tangerine, Florida was peacefully called home to the Lord on Friday February 04, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents LG and Marvelyn “Nikki” Harper. She is survived by her loving husband Terrell New Sr., and their sons Terrell Jr., Justin New; her brothers Thomas Harper, Mark Harper and family; as well as her grandsons Collin and Connor. She was an organ donor, donated her corneas and helped two people who were vision impaired. She will be greatly missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Dear Terrell and Family, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my Childhood next door neighbor girlfriend. We grew up and went to school together and I still remember Patti lending me her beautiful pink gown to wear to my first prom. I had just talked with Patti 3 weeks ago to let her know of our 50th class reunion this year, and hoped she could attend our meetings to plan the celebration.. I got to Thank her for the loan of her gown too at that time. Believe it or not, she remembered the dress. I am so glad to have been able to connect with her before she passed. Her mom Nikki and LG were so instrumental in my brother Frank and my growing up. We played together and went to church together and after the passing of my Dad in 1965 her family helped my mom and our family where ever they could.
