Patricia J. VanArsdale, 96, of Apopka, Florida passed away on March 28, 2023. Mrs. VanArsdale was born on March 19, 1927 in McKees Rock, Pennsylvania. Mrs. VanArsdale is preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert M. VanArsdale. She is survived by her children Bob (Debbie) VanArsdale, Randy (Debbie) VanArsdale, Chuck (Tiffany) VanArsdale, Bruce (Cindy) VanArsdale, Carol (Jeff) VanArsdale and Susan (Andy) Staggs; brother Paul Chambers; as well as 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many extended family, loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
