Phyllis Marie Smithers, 79, of Apopka, Florida passed away on May 16, 2020. Mrs. Smithers was born on May 13, 1941 in Pulaski, Virginia. She is survived by her loving husband Gerard C. Smithers; children Charles (Pong) Childers from Douglassville, Georgia, Jo (Mike) Trapp from Apopka, Florida, and Barbara (Grady) Conroy from Apopka, Florida; siblings Bett Stafford and James Deck; as well as 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Smithers will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
