On November 27, 2021 Rhonda Martinez passed away peacefully at the age of 55. Rhonda was born in Orlando, Florida on July 17, 1966 to the late Hubert Glenn Spradley and Norma Sibert. She was the youngest of five children. She attended Colonial High school and went on to get an associates degree in Computer science. “Every character has a different story to tell, a different magic to spread and a different dream to live” – Walt Disney. Rhonda was no different. At a young age Rhonda became disabled but that didn’t stop her. She was a loving mother and homemaker as well as a remarkable cook. She was the mother of two children. However, many people considered her a mother to them. Rhonda spent most of her adult life in Apopka where she coached both softball and cheerleading. At the time of passing Rhonda lived in Debary, Florida with her husband Pete. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Hubert Glenn Spradley, and Norma Sibert. Rhonda is survived by her husband Pete Martinez, her oldest daughter Kristen Tessendorf and her husband Jeremy Tessendorf, her youngest daughter Danielle Martinez and her wife Carolyn Martinez. Step father Harry Glenn Sibert, grandsons Jacoby and Grayson Tessendorf. Three sisters and one brother Glenda, Lavaughn, Pat, and JD as well as nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 at Loomis funeral home in Apopka Florida, following the visitation beginning at 11:00am. 420 West Mainstreet Apopka Florida 32712. Burial service to take place at 1:30pm Monday December 6, 2021 at Edgewood Cemetery Apopka Florida, 32712. If you wish to send flowers you can do so with Apopka Florist, 381 East Mainstreet Apopka, Florida 32712. So sorry for your loss. My memories of Rhonda were of a kid always smiling and such a cutie. I did not get the opportunity to spend time with her as an adult but because of Facebook have gotten to see what a brave, loving person she became. Love and prayers to you all.
