Robin Gail McGaughy, 67, of Apopka, Florida passed away on July 31, 2024. Mrs. McGaughy was born on January 26, 1957 in Pineville, Kentucky to Oscar Howard and Rinda Seitcer. She is survived by her loving husband William J. McGaughy; as well as her sister Shan Backus; nieces Brittany Harper and Kendahl Steele; grand niece Atleigh; as well as grand nephew Kenderk. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Robin and I worked together for years. Every day we had lunch and breaks together. I could tell Robin anything and it would never go any further (unless to tell Bill). My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her loved ones. Rest in peace dear friend. Love and miss you always.
