Ruth S. Long, 88, of Orlando, Florida, passed away May 25, 2021. She was born February 28, 1933 in Union County, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her loving husband Harry W. Long as well as 2 grandsons. She is survived by her children Diane (Leroy Jr.) Antley, Roger Long, Alex (Carrie) Long and Angela (Troy) Williams; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren as well as 4 great-great grandchildren.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
