Sharon Louise Brown, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Born on May 12, 1951 in Brownsville, TX, she moved to the Central Florida area 11 years ago. Mrs. Brown was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked as a financial analyst. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Brown.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth Miller of Austin, TX, Catharine Jensen of Bonnie Lake, WA, and Terri Bresnahan of Elmhurst, IL; brother, Michael Horony of San Antonio, TX; sister, Pat Patterson of Seguin, TX; and eleven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Brown's name to The Cat Protection Society P.O. Box 1078, Sorrento, FL 32776 (352)589-6228.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
