Sherry Ann Tuckwiller, 62, of Apopka, Florida passed away on November 06, 2023. She was born on October 05, 1961 in Orlando, Florida. Sherry was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Rooted in her faith, Sherry was a woman who always prioritized her family and friends. She was known for her unwavering support and love, always being there for those she cared about. Sherry was guided by her faith, and found solace and strength in her relationship with God, whom she honored through her kindness and compassion towards others.
Sherry is survived by her daughters Amanda Tuckwiller and Jessica Tuckwiller; son Jacob Prose; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her mother Margaret Joslyn, her brothers John Joslyn and Roger Joslyn Jr., as well as her nieces and nephews.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father Roger Joslyn Sr.; as well as her brother David Scott Joslyn.
The memory of Sherry Ann Tuckwiller will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in their hearts.
A private family gathering will be held to honor Sherry’s life and celebrate the impact she has on those around her.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
