She was the cornerstone of her family and loved by all who came into contact with her. She is survived by 6 children: Jean Hirschy, Sonny Carper, Michael Carper, Greg Douglas, Vicki Douglas, and Phyllis McCracken, and proceeded in death by 1 daughter, Kris Ann Douglas. She has 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. She also has many other "adopted grandchildren" and was known to many as grandma.
A celebration of life will be held at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4335 in Eustis on Thursday, March 2 from 3-6 pm and then she will make her final journey home to Indiana for a graveside memorial and gathering at a date to be determined.
