Shirley Lewise Zack (neeVarvel)- Age 88 of Orlando, FL., formerly of St. Louis,
Mo, passed away, Friday, March 30, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with
Alzheimer’s. Dearest wife of the late Otto J. Zack, loving mother of David (Barb)
Zack, Daryl Zack, Daryn (Beth) Zack, Danny (Mindy) Zack & Lonny (Sarah) Zack of
Orlando, Lynda (Forrest) Wilhite of Springfield, MO and Donna (Dan) Clark of St.
Louis, MO. Proud Grandmother of 32, Great-grandmother of 45. Survived by her
Brothers, Harold (Cinda) Varvel of Spanish Fort AL & Ronald (Brenda) Varvel of
Orlando, FL, also many nieces & nephews. Shirley was a homemaker and in her
later years worked as a greeter at McDonald’s. She loved to interact with the
public- this was a perfect job for her as she was bubbly & friendly “people
person”. Always ready with a good joke, a bright smile and hug for all- she was
well loved by all who had the privilege of crossing her path. She will be dearly
missed by many. Visitation will be Friday evening, April 06, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at
Loomis Funeral Home- 420 West Main Street, Apopka, FL. 32712. Funeral services to be held
