In Loving Memory of Susan Trulock Simpson
October 13, 1948
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother on October 18, 2023, at the age of 75, surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her home. She was a remarkable and caring mother who was always there when we needed her, offering unwavering love and support throughout her life. Her presence was a source of comfort and laughter to all who knew her, and her absence leaves an indelible void in our lives. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Jamie and her husband Dave, and Cynthia, whose lives were enriched by her wisdom and affection. In addition to her daughters, she leaves behind her loving stepsons, Jimmy and his wife Lauri, and Michael and his wife Erika, who were like sons to her. Survived by her amazing sisters, Laura and her partner Warren, Cynthia and her husband Pete who continue to carry her legacy forward with love and admiration. Her beautiful legacy also lives on through her grandchildren: Stephen and his wife Megan, Ali and her husband Karl, Brantley, Christopher, Grant, and her adopted granddaughter, Shyanne Russ, who continues to embody her warmth and kindness. Her magnificent spirit extends to her great-grandchildren, Payton, and Slade, who will hear stories of her laughter and love throughout their lives. Her most beloved of all was her fur baby Mary. Mom is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Eddy, and her cherished grandson, Bryan, who lovingly welcomes her with open arms.
A memorial service in her honor will be held at Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, October 24th at 11:00am. Please join us to celebrate her remarkable life and pay your respects.
As we remember and celebrate her life, we find solace in the knowledge that we will be together again, and her legacy will live on in our hearts forever. ALWAYS and FOREVER

Our hearts are broken for all the family and friends she leaves behind and we all will miss her so much But knowing she is happy and healthy and waiting on the other side for us to join her and the ones already there is a great comfort .
We had a lot of fun and laughs together. But they are nothing compared to what’s ahead with our precious Savior that she is enjoying now .
