Wanda M. Newton, 90, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on July 29, 2023. Mrs. Newton was born on August 20, 1932 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is survived by her son Jim; grandchildren C.J, Amanda and Kristen; great grandchildren Cameryn, Cadence, Noah, Asa and Lorelei; as well as her nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
