I heard this from a friend today. Dawn was the first woman I participated in hiring and whom went through the department training program under my charge at the time. There was no doubt she would make it through where others didn’t. She was good to people even if she had to be firm at times. She pretty much stayed in a good mood which was infectious with the public and with her co-workers. I have no idea what possibly happened to her that she passed so young. This is so sad.
Dawn, I wish I could have said goodbye and told you how proud of you I was.
My condolences to all her family, friends and loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dawn, don’t worry about St Michael. He is a wonderful little cat. Candy’s volunteers got him healthy and my family adopted him today. We’ve fostered him for 3 weeks and we already love him. We are calling him Michael Lionheart in your memory.
