Katherine Seebald Denihan, 73, of Apopka, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2014. She was born April 12, 1941 in Pontiac, MI. She was a Teacher for 31 years. Mrs. Denihan is survived by her sister Betsy (Frank) Dasse, Apopka; 6 nieces and nephews; 14 grandnieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you consider a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. They are the organization which was truly a lifeline to us during Kathy's illness, providing us with comprehensive information and quick responses to our email questions. On November 22, they held a Purple Stride 5K run/walk in Orlando (purple is the pancreatic cancer color). We formed a team called "Kathy's Prayer Warriors" for that event. A team of 14 walked/ran to honor Kathy & many additional donations were also made to honor her. Some of you honored Kathy in this way while was still alive; we so appreciate your thoughtfulness & generosity. Others are asking how they can honor Kathy now. This is one thing we know she’d appreciate. If you'd like to donate to this worthwhile organization, here is the contact information:
