Lila Sherline Shelley, 84, of Sorrento, Florida passed away on October 06, 2023. Ms. Shelley was born on May 10, 1939 to the late Gordon and Idell Kinsey in Bell, Florida. Ms. Shelley is preceded in death by her brothers Charles (Linda) Kinsey and Ray (Alice) Kinsey. She is survived by her two daughter’s Deanna (Calvin) Cron and Sonya (Rick) Harrison; sisters Jeanette (Paul) Watters and Annette (Gary) Goolsby; granddaughter Miranda Love; great granddaughters Madison and McKenna; as well as several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
