Pantha Mae (Pat) Bostic, age 78, died Friday, February 12, 2016, at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Sorrento Christian Center in Sorrento, Florida.  Ms. Bostic was born on November 8, 1937 in Raleigh County, West Virginia and was of the Christian faith. She was a former factory worker and restaurateur, owning several restaurants in Chicago, and Lake and Orange County, Florida for many years, most notably Robins Restaurant in Apopka and Sorrento. Ms. Bostic, f/k/a Pat Pumphrey, became known by the residents of the Apopka and Sorrento areas as providing good family style food and service, as well as a friendly, comfortable atmosphere in which to dine. She loved her family fiercely and always had an open heart to help where needed, whether within family, church or community. Ms. Bostic always found a way to become involved with community and church where possible. Ms. Bostic was preceded in death by her parents, Edward “Buck” and Jeanette Gouge, sister, Nella Harrison, and husband, James Bostic. Survivors: Sons, Edward R. Cole (Sharon) of Eastman, Georgia, Donald L. Cole (Carrie) of Houston, TX, M. Ronald Cole (Gail) of Eustis, Florida and David W. Cole (Donna) of Tavares, Florida; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ms. Bostic’s name to the Youth Department Missionary Fund of Sorrento Christian Center.
