Russell Allen Frey, 84, of Apopka, Florida passed away on December 11, 2018. Mr. Frey was born on September 20, 1934 in Dunkirk, New York. He is survived by his life partner Janet Frey; first wife and mother of his children Dolores Frey; children Allen (Chris) Frey, Stacy (David) Nichols, Nancy Barone, and Jay (Jennifer) Frey; grandchildren Renee, Rachel, Erika, Kari, Chase, Ryan, Tabitha, Nickola, Brandon, Dylan, Savannah, and Wyatt. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Russ was a great neighbor and friend. He had the greatest stories and his jovial laughter carried throughout the neighborhood. Whenever someone needed help, Russ was always eager to help. He was a good man.
